1. How are you currently pursuing the good of others in the church? How are you contributing to the church’s sanctification? What is your motivation for doing this?

2. When you see Christ at work in fellow church members, does it lead to thoughts of jealousy or to boasting in Christ? Why should it always be the latter?

3. Are you spending enough time with fellow believers in the church to witness Christ’s work in them?  If not, you are missing opportunities to further boast in the Lord. How can you grow here?  Name some action steps.

4. What’s the relationship between knowing God in His word and joy in God? How is this playing out in your own life?

5. Paul obviously longed to be with Christ, but he also longed to be with the church. What are the evidences in your own life that you long to be with Christ and His church? How are you seeking to be intentional in your time with fellow believers? How can you grow here?
